Kerala is going to the polling booths on April 9th. In this episode, we look at our election system and analyse some of its challenges such as declining voter participation, voter rationality, and election funding issues. We also try to understand the 'First Past the Post' voting system that is employed in our elections, and try to see whether alternative voting systems like 'Ranked Choice' voting work better.
